Lima – Cusco – Puno – Lima 10 Days

Arrival to the city of Lima. A representative of our Travel Agency will be waiting for you at the airport to welcome you and take you to the hotel of your choice.

Free afternoon to rest, walk, taste and enjoy the city.

Hotel Lima.

After breakfast, a representative of our agency will pick you up to drive you to start your tour in Lima “City of the Kings” where we will enjoy an ancient and modern city for approximately 4 hours.

During the tour we will visit the Huaca Pucllana, an ancient civilization in the centre of the city where ceremonies and sacrifices were performed more than 1 500 BC.

We will visit the historical centre of the city: Plaza de Armas, the Government Palace, the Municipal Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace. Then we will pass through the Park of the Wall, the Convent of San Francisco with its great relics and religious halls as well as the underground crypts known as Catacombs.

Throughout our visit we will visit a Modern City where we will see the beautiful district of San Isidro, Olivar Park, the Parque del Amor, the Malecon from where you will have an extraordinary view of the Pacific Ocean and you will be able to take beautiful pictures.

In the afternoon our staff of the travel agency will pick you up to take you to the airport and take the plane to Cusco.

Arrival in Cusco. A representative of our Travel Agency will be waiting for you at the airport to welcome you and take you to the hotel of your choice in the Sacred Valley.

Sacred Valley Hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Our excursion starts with the pick-up of you between 8:00 and 8:30 am. approximately, to start our visits.

We will start with direction to the first point of visit the Salt mines of Maras that is conformed with more than 3 thousand wells of natural mines, where the guide will explain us the process of extraction of the salt on the part of the local population and we will have time to take pictures to this wonderful place.

Afterwards, we will move towards Moray, we will pass by the main square of Maras where we will be able to observe the colonial houses that still conserve their stone doorways carved with coats of arms from the colonial era.

The Archaeological Centre of Moray; it is known as an Inca agricultural laboratory that the Quechuas used to experiment with the crops of the different regions in which they were present.

We will be able to walk along the paths enabled to take pictures and feel the variation of the climate according to the depth of the terraces, which have a difference of 150 m between the lowest and the highest point.

Buffet lunch in a restaurant in Urubamba. In the afternoon we will visit the living Inca village of Ollantaytambo where we will have a guided visit in the Archaeological Park of Ollantaytambo, a gigantic social, military, administrative, agricultural and religious complex in the time of Tahuantinsuyo.

At the end of our visit we will have free time to go to Ollantaytambo Station to take the train that will take us to Aguas Calientes, where a representative of our travel agency will be waiting for us to transfer us to the hotel of our choice.

Hotel Aguas Calientes- Machupicchu village.

At the agreed time after breakfast we will go to the bus station to take one of the first buses that will take us to the Lost City of the Incas where we can observe the magical and mysterious Inca citadel, after this experience we will have a guided tour of the archaeological complex of Machupicchu for an average of 2 hours,

 where we can explore and the guide will give us an explanation of what function this place had in the Inca period, in turn enjoy the impressive Inca architecture such as the House of the Guardian, the Sector of the Incas and the Inca ruins:

 The Guardian’s House, the Religious Sector, the Intihuatana, the Temple to the Pachamama, the Industrial Sector and the impressive terraces.

We say goodbye to the Sanctuary of Machupicchu and we go to take the bus back to Aguas Calientes where we will have a delicious lunch in a tourist restaurant.

At the indicated time we take the return train from Aguas Calientes Station to Ollantaytambo Station, there a representative of our Travel Agency will be waiting for you to direct you to the tourist transport that will take you to the hotel of your choice in the Sacred Valley.

Sacred Valley Hotel.

This day a representative of our travel agency will pick us up from the hotel to start our tour.

We will visit the picturesque colonial town of Pisaq where on Sundays the people of the communities come down for the celebration of the mass in Quechua, then we will go to the Archaeological Complex of Pisaq,

 where we can observe the magnificent platforms of Inca architecture extended in the mountains or known as platforms that had different functions. We will have some free time to visit the handicraft market, observe local Andean handicrafts and buy souvenirs. Lunch in Pisaq.

We continue our tour to Cusco city passing by the following points of visit in our tour. Tambomachay considered in Inca times as a Purification Centre and Water Temple. Pucapucara was a very important military control centre.

Qenqo was a centre of Inca astronomy and has beautiful underground tunnels and a ceremonial enclosure. Sacsayhuaman which is considered as a great Inca fortress where the Inca cyclopean constructions are found.

At the end of our tour we will drop you off at the hotel of your choice.

Hotel Cusco.

This day after a well-deserved rest and after having enjoyed our breakfast. The guide will pick us up at the hotel to start our Walking Tour in Cusco City Centre.

San Blas is one of the main traditional neighbourhoods of Cusco, better known as Barrio de los Artesanos in Quechua Toqocachi, here the guide will give you a brief explanation of its importance in Inca times. Nowadays we can find famous art galleries where Cusco handicrafts are exhibited.

The Stone of the 12 Angles; Beautiful stone that is part of the Imperial Inca Architecture that is located in Hatunrumiyoc street, very famous for having a perfect symmetry.

The Plaza de Armas or Huacaypata is one of the most beautiful squares in Peru and Latin America for its colonial monuments, the main one being the Cathedral of Cusco.

San Pedro Market which is the oldest and main market in the city of Cusco. Here we can live a wonderful experience as we can have new experiences with ethnic products from the area of Cusco.

Free afternoon to enjoy the charms of the city of Cusco.

 Hotel Cusco.

Our adventure will start with the pick up at 04:30 am. from your respective hotel, then we will travel for 2 hours until we arrive to the place where we will have breakfast and a short rest, then we will continue for 1 hour more until the bus station, from where we will start the journey to the Mountain of Colors (4 km) with an approximate of 2 Hrs. of walking.

We will arrive at the top of the 7 Colours Mountain, where we will have enough time to enjoy this beautiful place and take pictures for about 40 minutes.

After a brief explanation of our professional guide, we will take the way back to the bus station to take the transport and go to the restaurant and have a delicious basic lunch, we will finish this beautiful experience returning to Cusco city arriving approx. at 16.30 pm.  

Hotel Cusco.

After a delicious breakfast, our transfer will take you to the hotel and transfer you to Wanchaq station where you will take the Andean Explorers Train from Cusco to Puno.

 On this trip you will be able to observe the different changes of Andean scenery until you reach the winding plains where you can see vicuñas and alpacas.

On board the train. This adventure begins at 7:00 am passing through wonderful places and living different experiences on board during the journey we will pass through the Abra de la Raya where you can see the Nevado del Chimboya, arriving at the area of Puno,

 we will have the opportunity to see the magnificent views of Lake Titicaca and its shores. We will arrive at 17:00 Hrs. approximately to the city of Puno, a representative of our travel agency will be waiting for us to give us a warm welcome and take us to the hotel of your choice.

Hotel Puno.

Breakfast at the hotel. Very early in the morning a representative of our Travel Agency will pick you up to take you to the Main Port and board the boat that will take us to the Floating Islands of the Uros that are actually inside the “National Reserve of Lake Titicaca”.

 These beautiful islands are only 30 minutes away. The Uros people still maintain their own culture and traditions, as well as the practice of artisanal fishing, mainly “El Carachi”. When the fishing is abundant the villagers keep the fish drying in the sun.

You will have the morning free. At the agreed time you will be transferred to the airport.
