Arrival to Cusco. A representative of our Travel Agency will be waiting for you at the airport to welcome you and take you to the hotel of your choice.

At 12:30 we will pass by the hotel to start this beautiful excursion. The Cultural Thematic City Tour consists of a totally different tour with new thematic elements.

We will start visiting the Cathedral of Cusco, one of the most important temples of the City of Cusco that was built over an Inca Palace, in its interior has an important collection of paintings of the Cusco School of Cusco. The Qoricancha is considered as the Royal House of the Sun in the city of Cusco and is formed by a mixture of Inca and colonial construction.

We will take the panoramic bus in the area of Tullumayu, this will take us to the thematic excursion in the surroundings of Cusco. We will visit Saqsayhuaman which is considered as a great Inca fortress where the cyclopean constructions are found and which is a sample of the great architecture developed by our ancestors.

 When we arrive at the White Christ we get off the bus for a while to take pictures and enjoy the panoramic view of the city. Then we enter Qenqo, a centre of Inca astronomy that is characterized by its labyrinths and ceremonial underground enclosures.

 Along the way we will observe the staging of the Paucartambo Festival with traditional dance and music as well as the famous story of Cuculí. We head towards Pucapucara, considered as an Inca military centre and entrance control to the city of Cusco, this place has a connection with Tambomachay which was a place of Purification and Water Temple in the time of the Incas.

We enter the Huayllarcocha Wetland where there will be a small Inca performance in gratitude to the Pachamama, we will have an Andean show of the famous myth of Cuculí as well as traditional dance and music. We return to Cusco city, we will leave you in the Av. Sol.

Our guide will pass by your hotels at approximately 06:30 Hrs. to take us to our transport that will take us for about 40 minutes to the Archaeological Center of Chinchero, it is a living city that still maintains its customs and traditions left by their ancestors that today is located in a very important agricultural area.

The church and tower are from colonial times, built on the base of Inca temples, the artisans offer locally made textiles using ancient techniques.

After our visit, we head to the area of Moray, which is considered to be an Inca Agricultural Experimental Centre, which is a circular system of platforms built, taking advantage of the subsidence of the area.

They are terraces with microclimates, for experimental purposes, such as domestication, acclimatization, hybridization and, in general, plant experimentation.

Later we will visit the salt mines of Maras which have been explored since pre-Inca times. There are more than 3,000 shallow pools owned by shallow pools owned and today worked by almost 380 families. The salt water comes from natural springs that filter from the same hill called Qoripukiu (Fountain of Gold).

After enjoying a delicious buffet lunch in Urubamba, we will continue by bus for 30 minutes to reach the Archaeological Centre of Ollantaytambo. This was a successively occupied area. Here we say goodbye to our guide and head on our own to Ollantaytambo station to take the train to Machupicchu Pueblo.

At the agreed time after breakfast we will go to the bus station to take one of the first buses that will take us to the Lost City of the Incas where we can observe the magical and mysterious Inca citadel, after this experience we will have a guided tour of the archaeological complex of Machupicchu for an average of 2 hours,

 where we can explore and the guide will give us an explanation of what function this place had in the Inca period, in turn enjoy the impressive Inca architecture as the House of the Guardian, the Sector of the Incas and the Inca ruins:

The Guardian’s House, the Religious Sector, the Intihuatana, the Temple to the Pachamama, the Industrial Sector and the impressive terraces.

We say goodbye to the Sanctuary of Machupicchu and we go to take the bus back to Aguas Calientes where we will have a delicious lunch in a tourist restaurant.

At the indicated time we take the return train from Aguas Calientes Station to Ollantaytambo Station, there a representative of our Travel Agency will be waiting for you to take you to the tourist transport that will transfer you to the hotel of your choice in the city of Cusco.
